Transforming Healthcare Through AI: The Role of Change Management in Human Resources
Abstract
Healthcare is being revolutionized by artificial intelligence (AI), which is opening up previously unexplored opportunities to improve patient care, expedite processes, and drive medical innovation. But integrating AI involves more than just keeping up with the latest technology—it calls for a calculated strategy that takes organizational dynamics, change management, and human
aspects into account. This study examines the relationship between artificial intelligence (AI), healthcare, and change management, emphasizing the critical role that human resources (HR) play in managing this digital shift. This study stresses the need for customized change management approaches to maximize the advantages of adopting AI while promoting acceptance and reducing
opposition. It strongly emphasizes HR's role in managing resistance, upgrading
the workforce, and promoting an innovative and continuous learning culture.
Healthcare organizations can overcome obstacles, empower their workforce,
and provide a patient-focused environment where AI and human expertise
coexist by taking a comprehensive approach that balances technology
advancement and effective change management. To improve treatment quality
and place healthcare organizations at the forefront of medical innovation, this
paper offers a path for healthcare leaders by pointing out how a strategic
combination of AI adoption and change management may transform the future
of healthcare
