Editorial policy

The Moroccan Journal of Pure and Applied Analysis publishes high-quality research articles in any field of pure and applied mathematical analysis.

Articles must be original and written in English. See « instructions for authors ». To be published in MJPAA, a paper should be a significant contribution to the mathematics literature, well-written, and of interest to a wide audience.

All manuscripts will undergo a strict refereeing process; acceptance for publication is based on two positive reviews from international experts (internal or external peer reviewers) in the field.

The experts (reviewers) are either editors in the journal, or proposed by the editors or chosen directly by the editors-in-chief.

They must be specialists in the field of the submitted paper,  and used to publish in journals indexed by Clarivate.

Two international experts (who can of course be internal editors but outside the country) are required if the author is national to avoid any conflict of interest and thus guarantee a very correct evaluation process. Sometimes, MJPAA calls on an external expert if the internal editor is very busy (if he or she has been tasked with reviewing several articles).

MJPAA respects the opinions of the reviewers in the decision made by the Editor-in-Chief.

Survey papers may be submitted for publication by invitation only.

Submission of a manuscript acknowledges that the manuscript is original and is not, in whole or in part, published or submitted for publication elsewhere. A copyright agreement is required before the publication of the paper. Manuscripts must be written in English. It is the author's responsibility to make sure her/his manuscript is written in clear, unambiguous and grammatically correct language.

The factors that are taken into account in review are relevance, soundness, significance, originality, readability and language.

The possible decisions include acceptance, revision, or rejection.

There is no guarantee that a revised and resubmitted manuscript will be accepted.

The paper acceptance is constrained by such legal requirements as shall then be in force regarding libel, copyright infringement and plagiarism.

Authors must certify that the manuscript :

 1) is their original work.

2) has not previously been published elsewhere.

3) is not currently being considered for publication elsewhere.

All Authors mentioned in the paper must have significantly contributed to the research.

Authors must state that all data in the paper are real and authentic, and must identify all sources used in the creation of their manuscript.

Also, authors are obliged to provide retractions or corrections of mistakes.

The submitting author is responsible for ensuring that the article's publication has been approved by all the other coauthors. It is also the authors' responsibility to ensure that the articles emanating from a particular institution are submitted with the approval of the necessary institution.

Authors must notify the editors of any conflicts of interest, and must also report any errors they discover in their published paper to the editors.
