About the Journal

     
The International Journal of Cross-cultural Communication and Media Studies (CMS) is a triannual, peer-reviewed, open access journal focused on interdisciplinary research in cross-cultural communication, media studies, and their intersections within the social sciences. It encourages submissions from international academics and researchers covering a range of topics, including media representation and cultural identity, communication technologies and globalization, media production and consumption, intercultural communication practices, media localization and translation, media's role in society and politics, cultural studies and arts, advertising and consumer behavior, as well as intercultural relations and conflict resolution. The journal provides a platform for theoretical and empirical research, including articles, book reviews, systematic reviews, and other scholarly work, addressing various aspects of cross-cultural communication and media studies.
